The Little Black Dress

monday

If there is one piece that every woman should have in her closet, it’s the little black dress. And a close runner up to that is shapewear. Smooth lines are so much more appealing than lumps and bumps no? Even the most in shape girl can benefit from shapewear. Just ask the celebs. I bet most of them don’t make a red carpet move without shapewear, but I digress…

Ruby Ribbon blends the little black dress and shapewear into one. Their Modern Shift Dress built in shaping. The sheer mesh hem is perfectly on trend and adds an extra special detail to this classic piece. While this little number could easily be dressed up and worn as cocktail attire, I decided to style a decidedly more casual look and paired my Ruby Ribbon LBD with gold gladiator sandals, a lucite cuff and a straw clutch.

That LBD is so versatile and seasonless. I am loving it with gold. The cuff and sandals are very pretty. I love all of my LBDs. My pleasure linking up with you, Carly & Nicole.

And I am jealous you can wear such a warm-weather piece there. It is sweaters with scarves for me, today. LOL
