Summer Florals Two Ways

summer florals, summer 2013 fashion trends, floral prints

I am so honored to by writing my first guest post for the chicest of chic BonBon Rose Girls!

I’m sure everyone is feeling the heat by now and even here in London we are slowly putting away our raincoats in exchange for some sunshine. Nothing says summer to me like a pretty floral print and I’ve put together two different ultra feminine looks that are also  mommy friendly.

As a busy mom, it’s so important for me to be comfortable in what I’m wearing while still looking good. I love running around town in a great pair of shorts and these pale yellow ones from Aritizia are so stylish. Pairing them with a beachy top from Madewell keeps the look effortless and fresh. Throw on a matching nude belt and a pair of ballet flats with gold details from J. Crew for a pulled together vibe. And why not try a great striped summer tote by Mar Y Sol that is not only great for carrying all those important things your kids constantly hand you, but also for a day at the beach?

I don’t think I can ever have enough summer dresses and how gorgeous is this flirty dress by Free People? Layer the dress with a dainty gold necklace by Gorjana to add some interest without fighting with the flowy dress. If you can’t tell, I’m really into a great nude shoe and these gladiators from Ancient Greek Sandals are so comfy and I love the detail on them. Finally. for a bold pop of color, toss on this cute hot pink cross body bag by Pour La Victoire and you will be the rockin’ florals in style this summer!
