I’m a fairly fair skinned…ok…SUPER pale girl and I’m sure you’ve noticed that if you’ve visited our site before. Haha! Back in my misspent youth, I used to really have to “work” at building up a good tan. My pesky sun spots are a reminder of the days when I should have been rockin’ a floppy hat and oversized sunnies on the regular.
Luckily I smartened up and for the past decade have been vigilantly protecting my skin. For the most part, I’ve embraced my paleness, but every spring I find myself longing for a little color. Here in Tampa, our spring weather reaches summer worthy temps FAST, so my warm weather wardrobe definitely shows some skin.
I tend to live in dresses because I find them to be the coolest thing to wear, so a little color wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if you know what I mean…
Coral is my current color obsession and I wore my favorite frock of the moment, a coral lace shift dress, for our recent family photo sesh. While I think it looked fine against my natural skin tone, I think it would be even prettier against “glowing” skin.
