I know it’s still pretty chilly where many of you live, but why don’t you join me for a little warm weather fantasy for a moment? Here in Tampa, spring is pretty much here, so I have no choice but to get my spring wardrobe together!
As I’m still on my post baby weight loss journey, I can’t quite fit into the majority of my clothes from seasons past, so I am going to have to bite the bullet and update my wardrobe a bit more than I probably would have otherwise. As my size is ever evolving, I’m not keen on the idea of spending a ton of money on a transitional wardrobe, so here are some budget friendly picks that I’m loving from Old Navy and Gap.
The chambray shirt and boyfriend khakis are so versatile and you all know I’m obsessed with ankle straps right now! Another spring obsession of mine is definitely the black and white trend, so the polka dot shift and animal print flats play into that. And a denim jacket is always a classic layering piece.
Speaking of black and white, head over to Momtrends today for my Trendy Thursday column where I shared even more black and white picks!
1. Chambray Shirt , 2. Boyfriend Skinny Khakis, 3. Faux-Leather Cross-Front Sandals
1. Printed Shift Dress , 2. 1969 Denim Jacket , 3. Printed Pointy Flats
What pieces are on your spring must haves list lovelies? Where do you like to shop for affordable, yet stylish clothing?

A chambray shirt is definitely a must for any ladies wardrobe. They are so versatile! I love shopping at Kohl’s for trendy and affordable pieces. Heather

Excellent suggestion! In fact, I included an LC Lauren Conrad skirt for Kohl’s in this week’s Trendy Thursday column!

Ugh – the only thing that works for me here is the denim jacket. I cannot “do” skinny pants, shirts with pockets (BUSTY) or shift dresses as they make me look boxy. and point flats? no.

The “skinny” pants actually aren’t that skinny as they’re a boyfriend style. I have another pair of their “skinny” khakis and they’re crazy flattering!

The shift dress is soooo cute! I’m not sure what my must haves are other than some pretty pastel colors!

LOVE those black and white picks….both the shift and the shoes. I am having a love affair with the Spring ’13 black and white movement.

Both looks are very cute, but my favorite element are those black and white flats! Yay, Spring!
