Saturday was the much anticipated release of the Target + Neiman Marcus Collection and you just know Kristin and I both had to go and call each other immediately from our respective states to discuss the details. I arrived caffeinated and on time and was pleasantly surprised to see plenty in stock just waiting for me, Kristin reported the same from Tampa, FL.
With a wide array of items and clothing from 24 AMAZING designers, this has to be one of my favorite collaborations to date. The clothing was great but really blew me away were some of the household items and accessories. I read that the designers were given free reign on what to design and I think it truly came through in the variety of the collection. Here are some of our favorites…

This isn’t part of the collab, but dwn in Tampa, Kristin’s little bean found a score of her own! How precious is she in that hat?!

Oh, most definitely. I’ve scoped out some items online that I want to go check out in person… such as that Marc Jacobs clutch, and I think the Proenza Schouler sweatshirt would be a fab cover-up in the dance studio or gym

I went and while I had high hopes I didn’t buy anything… The items were offered at Neimans and their last call center as well. Sadly the neiman Marcus associates in the downtown Chicago location had a poor attitude about the collab and the ‘crowd’ it was attracting that day. One assoc said in the most annoyed tone of voice, can this day just be OVER?

I JUST went to Target and checked it out today–there were lots of fun finds! I didn’t get anything though, but I’m crossing my fingers I’ll catch something on sale (like the MJ clutches!)
