As I’m closing in on the end of an incredibly busy week, I’m turning to images like this shot that I captured on our recent mountain vacation to take me to my happy place. There is nothing quite like the peace and tranquility that comes from breathing in the fresh mountain air!
I came across this oh so peaceful looking corn maze when we were visiting Hillside Orchard. For the record, I did NOT enter said corn maze. One word…Malachi. Corn mazes absolutely terrify me! Tell me I’m not alone. That being said, this one did make for a pretty picture no?

I’ve been MIA because I was so busy and then got really sick! So—this image is lovely and reminds me that it’s important to just take it in and take it easy!

I admit that I do get a thrill from haunted corn mazes, an activity my friends and I love to do each Halloween. Terrifying but a big rush, ha!
