As I mentioned earlier today in my Monday Mingle post, I had the pleasure of co-hosting my sister’s Kentucky Derby themed bridal shower this past weekend! My fellow bridesmaids, our mamas and I had a wonderful time coming up with all sorts of Derby related decor and food. Details like ribbon trimmed mason jars, horse statues, bunting and poufs made the event extra special!
We decided to go with a mint and lavender color palette despite it being November. We do live in Florida after all. Pastels year ’round baby. Haha!
My outfit details: gifted fascinator, BaubleBar earrings (similar here), London Times faux wrap dress, Vince Camuto Timba flats

The mason jars with colorful straws are so pretty! And I love poufs for party decorations– did you make them?

@Alexis Grace, Yes I can confirm I wanted to rock a fascinator! =) I have dreamed of a Derby themed shower for years! And my lovely ladies made that dream come true!

Ohh, how fun, I love this theme! Living in Louisville, the whole town went nuts in May – and any event that encourages hat wearing is a winner in my book!
