Wedding Wednesday: Taking Time Out for a Me Day

Hello again, Loves! I’m sorry it has been so long since I’ve had a Wedding Wednesday post for you!

Well, it is hard to believe, but in 3 and a half short months I will be a MRS.!  Thankfully the wedding planning is coming along famously. We selected our cake, my fiance picked his tux (he will be rocking Vera Wang), my sweet baby niece (AKA the lil’ lady bean) has her dress and we’ve had our food tasting!  Exciting stuff!

In the midst of the wedding planning madness, I decided to take a “me” day!  This is something I highly recommend for ALL brides-to-be and for all lovely ladies in general!  Wedding planning is fun – yet stressful, exciting – yet tiring and sometimes even a little overwhelming!  On this blissful day, I treated myself to a LOVELY hot stone massage.  Um, hello – can we say HEAVEN???  Check out the gorgeous view!

mimosas for the mr. and mrs.

I was so relaxed from my 90 minute relax sesh that I treated myself to a manicure and pedicure – complete with hot towel and parafin wax treatments!  Check out this gorgeous color by OPI!  It’s called “Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs.”  I’m in love!

On my way home, I stopped and picked up two magazines and sat at Starbucks sipping my signature java choice – a Skinnny Vanilla Latte with two extra sugar-free vanilla pumps!  YUM!  I must say…it was a day of pure bliss and a total escape from the wedding planning madness!

So, tell me – what you do you do relax while you enjoy some “me” time???

Hugs and thanks to my sister for another wonderful Wedding Wednesday post!

I have really loved neutral nails lately! I like the popular dark colors for fall, but recently I painted my nails a matte beige color and thought they looked amazing.

@Alex Elizabeth, Loving neutral nails too!

first off, gorgeous ring you got =))

I love hot stone massages too! When I was planning my wedding, massages kept me relaxed and helped keep me sane. Another thing that helped me were taking short naps whenever I can. It will help you a lot specially when your big day gets near.

@freeteyme, Thank you! :) It is perfect! :) The massage really helped! I getting facials every 4 weeks too for relaxation and to get ready for the big day!
