Monday Mingle: Pretty in Peplum

I’m celebrating Monday Mingle today with a trio of my favorite fall trends! I’m loving lace, peplum and cap toes to pieces! I wouldn’t typically recommend styling a bunch of trends in one look, but I think it works here. The jewel tone and black color palette is perfect for fall and the metallic cap toes perfectly complement the lace peplum top…in my humble opinion anyway! To see peplum and cap toes in action, you must check out the gorgeous ensemble that was recently posted over at It’s Not That Deep…

So, would you wear more than one trend in an outfit? Do tell! And don’t forget to link up your style posts along with us, Momtrends and Glamamom! You can find the linky over at Momtrends’ site!

Ooh I’m loving this combo–the peplum and cap toes are so pretty. I finally jumped on the peplum bandwagon and bought a jacket, hopefully it arrives soon!

Ohhhhh, a peplum jacket…Where did you score it?

I am absolutely loving lace right now. I was trying dresses on for a wedding last week and I looked up at all the hooks in the dressing room and noticed that EVERY SINGLE dress was lace. HA!

I’ve been wanting to try out peplum but haven’t found the right piece for me yet. Love this look though!

I don’t think I can pull off peplum…when not preggo (and actually, through most of this pregnancy) I do have a pretty defined waist…but anything that calls attention to my hips is not welcome! However, those heels totally rock. I’d definitely wear them!

I love the peplum trend. I’ve been coveting a bordeux leather one at H&M. The mashup of leather with ladylike is awesome! The color and pattern of the one in your post is gorgeous.
