Happy Monday lovelies! One week ago today, I was still on vacation in beautiful Clayton, GA. As you my remember from some of our past posts, my family has a little place up there in the Appalachian Mountains and we try to visit it at least once a year.
I can’t even begin to describe how relaxing it is up there! There is definitely something to be said for small time life and unplugging for a bit. You may have noticed that I wasn’t around much for while and that was because I was simply sitting back and enjoying quality time with the kiddos, my mama and my sis!
One of the places we visited was Hillside Orchard. Nestled next to the mountains, it offered beautiful grounds, a petting zoo and even a hay ride. The dude had such a great time, we went there twice!
There may be not be a whole lot of fashion in this edition of Monday Mingle, BUT the lil’ lady bean is rocking a seriously fabulous headband and some adorable polka dots. That counts right? Haha! Notice how comfy she is in her Stokke Xplory Carry Cot? I’m so attached to that stroller at this point, I couldn’t travel without it! I loved being able to just pop the car seat in when I needed to also. You never wake a sleeping bambino…Am I right mamas?
Don’t forget to join us, Momtrends and Glamamom by linking up your posts below! This week, one lucky participant will win the Essie Fall Collection Cube. Aren’t the colors gorgeous?
Details: This giveaway is open to US residents only and closes November 4, 2012 at midnight EST.
Disclosure: I was provided with the Stokke Xplory, but the opinions expressed are my own.

Glad you are taking that stroller on the road. Looks like you had a good time in the country.

Love all the photos…hay rides can be fashionable! We enjoyed ours this fall:) Love that stroller too..I have the bugaboo and between you and me (and the blogosphere) I HATE it. It was a poor choice as a first time mom who was JUST going on aesthetics. I feel guilty not using it again for number 2 because it was so pricey. Live and learn.
Hope you are well!

Ahh, Clayton. It was the place I had to pull over while on my way home from Franklin, NC (visiting my bestie) after Audrey barfed in my new car. That’s how I remember Clayton now – lol! On a less traumatic note, it’s so pretty up there around the GA/NC border, it’s a good time of year to go up there for sure. There’s so much to do and so many gorgeous towns and scenery up there. Oh and my friend in Franklin is expecting snow tonight/tomorrow – eek!

Clayton, Ga? I think I might have stopped there on the way back from Highland, NC. And I think I had the best fried chicken ever at a diner on main street.

That stroller is the coolest thing. I wish they were making those 20+ years ago when I had my son.
The advice you gave it absolutely true: DO NOT wake a sleeping bambino!
