Fashion and Technology, A Beautiful Marriage

For those of us in love with fashion, ok let’s get real here, it might be more of an obsession than a love affair, technology has made it easier  to have access to the amazing styles we drool over. Remember when you were a teenager pouring over Vogue with your bestie? If only we had had the technological advancements then that we have now! Technology, such as webcasts, allow us see our favorite designers’ runway looks live and online shopping means we can get the looks we covet even faster! Viva la technology!

One of my favorite tech darlings is Pinterest.  I’m all about checking out and pinning fabulous looks and accessories and, even better, clicking through and buying them! Shhhhhhhh….Don’t tell the hubs! He has no idea just how deep my Pinterest obsession goes! Haha!

In the past few years, fashion has moved faster than ever and become more available to us all. Another way fashion and technology have worked together is by allowing us have more of a say. Our opinions matter! We use technology to access our social media outlets and it’s clear that our social presence is important.

So, let’s all exercise  our right to vote and vote in the HP Project Runway contest.  HP challenged people to design a fun and unique laptop bag for a chance to win $10,000! Now that they have been narrowed down, we can all vote for our favorite of 40 designed laptop bags. I voted, it was a difficult choice but I’ll never tell which was my fave! Can you guess which one it was?
