Easy Acorn Cookies

Thursday, September 27, 2012

When my friend Di pinned these adorable acorn cookies on Pinterest, we knew it would be a fun cookie project to tackle along with a bottle of wine, hee hee. They turned out so cute and festive for fall and could not be easier.  And as an added bonus, they taste great!

To make them, you need Hershey kisses, peanut butter chips, Nutter Butter bite size cookies and black icing preferably in a squeeze tube.  Simply squeeze a dab of icing on each side of the Nutter Butter, place the kiss on one side and the peanut butter chip on the other. That’s all there is to it!  I let them dry for a few hours to be sure that they really stuck to the icing.

Is it just me or would these be adorable to have sitting out at Thanksgiving? What do you think? Are they good acorn look-a-likes?
