Hello again! I am so excited to be back with another Wedding Wednesday guest post! Time is flying and we are a little less than 5 months from the big day! Eeeeeekkkkk!
Here is a peek at our engagement sesh! We knew wanted to take some pictures in Tampa…I grew up here and this is where we met, fell in love and plan to raise a family some day. The various spots downtown and the infamous City of Tampa wall were the perfect backdrops to highlight our home town!
As you may remember, we got engaged at Magic Kingdom and, of course, wanted to head back there for some pictures to remember that wonderful day!
A special thank you to Our Hobby to Your Home for the signage featured in the castle shot! We plan to use it in the ceremony too!
Our amazing and talented photographer Maria of Snider Shots captured the beauty of our location choices and the love and excitement that we share. It doesn’t get much better for that! As someone who LOVES photography, our engagement shoot and wedding shots are uber importante to me! As I am sure they are to most brides!
So, where did you choose to have your engagement photos shot or where do you plan to? Do tell! I love to hear about all the unique locations people choose!
Hugs and thanks to my sister for continuing to take us along on her bride to be journey!

Hi Jess,
As you know I have planned quite a few weddings and events over the past few years. There are some engagement photo shoots that stick out for me. But this one was my favorite because the groom thought ahead and because it was my niece he was proposing to. My niece’s future husband had a photographer close by to get the pics of him asking her to marry him. The couple now has amazing pics of the event. Some of the different types of shoots I know of have been to a beach, yatchs and sailboats, cabin, rollercoaster just to name a few. One even at a nursing home – this one was touching as the grandmother was 91 and they wanted her to be a part. No matter where you have it – you need to have a great photographer so shop around to find the one that gets your vision.

So, so fun and love how personal the place is where you took the photos. Definitely the happiest place on earth.
