Good morning lovelies! I have a short post for you today as I’m taking the dude to his pre-school open house. I can’t believe my baby is starting school! Do any of you fellow mamas have some words of wisdom for me on how to cope? I know it’s time and it will be really good for him, but I’m oh so sad nonetheless.
I decided to share another shot from our family photo shoot with Snider Shots that you saw last week. I styled us all in a coordinating color palette and I just love how the bright colors showed up in the pictures! We had so much fun shooting down in historic Ybor City. It’s beautiful family moments like this that really make life worth living!
Don’t forget to join us, Momtrends and Glamamom for Monday Mingle by linking up your style/fashion posts! You can find the linky at Glamamom’s site this week.

I don’t have much advice, but I do have hugs! And it will be just fine; I had a hard time sending my girl last year but she loved it

Take lots of pictures and plan a nice treat for the first day–maybe a trip to a special lunch spot just you and your big boy!

LOVE that photo. I’m afraid I don’t have any tips for you. It seems everyone has a kid starting school this fall. My cousin’s triplets are starting kindergarten this year and she’s an emotional wreck over it. Haha!

Awww, hang in there. We have two starting back today, and the other one has his K open house this evening. The Mrs. here feels the same way as you.

So sweet. And I must say that you totally hit it out of the park with that dress. It totally makes the entire photoshoot pop.

How cute! The only advice I can give you is to go home and cry. Put on your big girl face in front of the kid and then go home and wallow in the misery that your baby is a big boy. LOL
At least that’s what I did. I was extremely enthusiastic in front of him, but an emotional wreck in front of hubby. I even thought of homeschooling! Then the kid walks in to class and without a backward glance says, “Bye, Mommy!” These children are something else.
Good luck and you all look lovely!
