Do you ever play the, “If I won the lottery game?” It’s one of my favorites and I love thinking up all the ways I would hook up the special people in my life and travel the world. Sometimes I like to play a more low-key version where I just peruse my favorite stores and create totally unattainable looks. Sure, I can recreate the same feel for less, but I have expensive day dreaming tastes my lovelies.
One of my favorite stores is ABC Home in NYC. I love wandering floor after floor of amazing furniture and accessories. And while they do have some things that are in my budget (sheets! I can buy sheets!), when I put it all together in a dream room I’m looking at close to 40K. Um yeah…so that is NOT in my budget for one room, ha! I was having fun scouring their site and here is one living room I came up with.
I love the deep violet rug paired with the trundle bed and chandelier. I also like the contradiction of the vintage grape bin with the metal basket weave side table. Ahh…I think I may have to pick up a lottery ticket or two.
So, do you ever play the lottery game? What would be your greatest indulgence? Paying off loans and bills do not count! I mean we’re talking the fun stuff here!

That chandelier is beautiful! Now all I have to do is win the lottery so I can own it too! haha

That game is fun! I do it probably once a week, lol. One indulgence would be a really nice vacation and the second indulgence would be to have a gorgeous walk in closet with a place for everything! Heather

Oh the Mrs. would definitely find a larger home with a mountain view. She is bummed that we have filled every room here–leaving little room for creative design.

I am loving that couch!!
I always tell my husband that if we won the lottery, I was adding a second floor to our house so I can build my own master suite complete with a room size closet and spa like bathroom. Literally the suite would be the entire length of the house! Then with whatever is left over, my husband and I can just go travel.

Is there anyone who doesn’t play that game? I have a whole wishlist of items and adventures for when I’m a millionaire – mainly bags, furniture and vacations.
The ABC website is always amazing to look out, but I definitely need to check out the store when I’m in New York. Still haven’t been.

We play this all the time! Although I would never play the lottery, I still think about an excess of money and what I would do with it. I would pay off my brother in law’s students loans, my husband’s student loans, then set up trust funds for all the little ones in my life. And then I would take a nice long vacation.

If we won the lottery, we would immediately be putting in the pool and outdoor kitchen we both want. It’s a dream to have a really unique oasis in our back yard.
