Happy Monday lovelies! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I definitely had a wonderful one! The hubs and I celebrated five years of wedded bliss with dinner and a movie on Friday night and then we spent the rest of the weekend getting our home ready for the lil’ lady bean.
If I didn’t already realize how lucky I am to be married to such an amazing guy, I definitely would be aware of it after this weekend! My fella painted our bedroom, helped me purge and organize my closet, as well as clean the entire house. It was glorious! I’m pretty worthless when it comes to housework these days, so having a partner I can completely depend on is outta this world incredible. I was definitely reminded of just how very pregnant I am, when simply supervising the house projects was exhausting. Haha!
Outfit Details: Quiksilver chambray shirt, Macy’s snake scale cuff, Dolce Vita Archer sandal, J. Crew chino short
So, instead of focusing on maternity style, I decided to put together a look for my post baby bod. I was totally inspired by this gorgeous chambray and coral ensemble of Nicole’s from Frankie Hearts Fashion! I modified it a bit for a new mama by swapping out the heels for flat sandals. I don’t think heels will be in my near future. Le sigh. Oh well. The lady bean is worth giving up a few inches!
Don’t forget to link up your style or fashion posts below! As always, we’re celebrating Monday Mingle with Momtrends and Glamamom! By linking up this week, you could win this darling Flensted Circular Bunnies Mobile. You could hang it over your bambino’s crib, but I think it would be equally as cute hanging in a big kid’s room or even an adult’s mod space! This linky and giveaway will remain open through midnight on 5/27. The winner will be chosen at random via Random.org.

What a perfect outfit! I wish I could squeeze my baby belly into those shorts right now, and will have to keep an eye out for a maternity version in that fabulous color. And when I clicked over to Frankie Hearts Fashion, I just about died of envy – that woman has the most amazing legs!

You’ve now got me reconsidering my stance on button downs. I used to think they looked horrible on me… maybe I should give them a second chance?!

[Reply]
Dear Kristin,
Many congratulations on your 5th Wedding anniversary….you’ve only got 32 more to catch up with me !!!! haha.
Your husband sounds a real gem and deserves a gold star. He is being the perfect husband .
Love the cuff, love the shirt and love the mobile but, at my age, the shorts are out !!!! haha.
Keep blooming in your pregnancy and put your feet up now and again. You will have your work cut out when your new addition arrives !! ( it’s not that bad really !!) XXXX
[Reply]
What a cute outfit! Love it.
[Reply]
Love this look! That cuff is calling for me and I’m loving the color of those shorts!
[Reply]
Love coral..Love chambray …so most certainly love them together:) You are getting SOOOO close!
I know what you mean…I am in week 25 and can feel the nesting taking over. I hired someone to do Connor’s big boy room and redo the nursery because it all seems so overwhelming this time around, lol. I have plenty to tackle on my own though…moving closets, breaking out baby stuff from attic etc. I am strangely excited by it all…lol.

Happy anniversary! I think this is a great spring/summer look. I would totally wear it– love bright shorts!
[Reply]
J’adore this outfit!! It’s so simple, but so striking. And perfect, because I just bought some coral shorts from the Gap – this is great inspiration!
Also, that bunny mobile is uber cool. I agree that it would look right at home (pun!) even in a child-less apartment (like mine).
Have a happy Monday and happy belated anniversary!
