It’s DIY time, woot woot! I love showering my Mom with gifts and making her feel special for Mother’s Day and making her an awesome gift, a la DIY style, is icing on the cake. Using Pinterest, I found three DIY projects I would love to make for my mama this week.
First up is an adorable cupcake bouquet. There are so many great elaborate ones online (seriously you should search it in Pinterest, it’s amazing). This smaller version seems more my amateur speed and is still so cute!
The second Mother’s Day DIY gift is this lace monogrammed canvas tote. It looks pretty simple to make and I love the vintage feel of it.
Last but certainly not least in my DIY round-up is a jewelry tree. What mama doesn’t want to hang her baubles on a beauty like this? The hardest part to me seems to be finding that perfect branch, ha!
So, there you have it. Now my only dilemma is to pick which one to make by Sunday! Which one would you choose?

definitely the lace monogrammed canvas tote – very useful specially since summer is here – for shopping or taking to the beach!

I think I would go for the jewellery tree, I love the cupcake bouquet, but after they have been eaten they are gone. The jewellery tree will be around forever

DIY gifts are the best because that means someone really put some thought and effort into it

The cupcake bouquet is making me hungry! I don’t think it would last long in my house. A good free diy project for young kids is coloring pages they can print and give mom from http://www.thecolor.com/Category/Coloring/Mothers%20Day.aspx?holiday
