Happy Monday lovelies! I hope you all had a beautiful holiday weekend! Mine was wonderful, minus a pregnancy hormone fueled breakdown. Haha! I’m currently in big time nesting mode and started to freak out about all the house projects I want completed before our lil’ lady bean arrives.
Luckily, my darling hubs knew just how to handle said breakdown. He completely cleaned and reorganized our screened in porch. We have a lot of the dude’s toys out there and it was complete chaos. I’m happy to say, that chaos is no longer in existence…on our porch at least.
After hearing what kind of frame of mind I was in, I’m sure it’s no surprise that I wasn’t up for a big fashion moment this weekend. I was stressed, hot and just plain uncomfortable. I think the lately lady bean doubled in size overnight. Just sayin’.
Thankfully, the lovely folks at Forty Weeks and Bravado! Designs were kind enough to send me a couple of their essential nursing tanks. Can I just say that these tanks are sheer BLISS. I was able to go bra free which is huge because my “girls” aren’t exactly small these days. There is a highly supportive bra built right into the tank. And I just love that I can rock it during my pregnancy AND after!
So, I paired my Bravado! Designs tank with a super lightweight berry colored skirt from Old Navy, t-strap metallic sandals from LOFT and an oversized bead necklace that I picked up when Meg and I had our little BonBon pow wow at my fam’s mountain retreat…It may not be high fashion, if you watch Tosh 2.o you’re cracking up right now, but it was sublimely comfortable and right now, comfort is of the utmost importance to moi! Oh and apparently, pregnancy brain has zapped a few more brain cells as I totally didn’t notice that I was still rockin’ my hair tie as a bracelet. Le sigh.
Did y’all greet the weekend in laid back style or did you have a special occasion to get all dolled up for? Do share! I’m living vicariously through others right now. Haha! And don’t forget to join us, Momtrends and Glamamom for Monday Mingle! This week, we’re giving away a tube of Fresh Sugar Lip Balm. It is, seriously, the best lip balm I’ve ever used!

You look so pretty! The tanks are great, love the feminine pink skirt, and your smile says it all. Although my 2 kids are grown, I remember my pregnancies vividly. I made all my maternity clothes and felt wonderful. You are stylish and gorgeous.

Dear Kristin,
We had our daughter and boyfriend for lunch and looked after our son and daughter-in-law’s baby ( or should I say grandson !!) while they had a day on their own. I have now changed out of my leggings, All Saints top and Toast boots and an lounging about in my jazz pants and racer back T-shirt so, no photo of me, I’m afraid !!!! haha.
I have to tell you that you are looking so beautiful and glowing in your latter stages of pregnancy. How wonderful that you are expecting a girl. Same as me. We had a boy first and a girl after. They are now 32 and 30 , so I am somewhat futher on in the Mum stakes !!!! haha.
You have a lovely husband and, you look so well even though you don’t think that you have as much enthusiasm as usual for fashion.
Keep well Kristin,
Much love. XXXX

You look adorable and are blessed to be able to fit into a tank like that! I was rockin’ double G’s when I was pregnant with my boys and barely found a bra to fit let alone something with a built in bra. You are fortunate to be a cute pregnant person.

You look so pretty, Kristin! I love Fresh Sugar, too. Have three colors

I hear you on comfort! I feel like I gained at least 10 pounds this weekend. This little girl is determined to chunk me up. I’d have no problem make your outfit my daily uniform. Cute and comfortable? Win win!

Kristin you look so beautiful in pink & black! I can’t imagine how stressful & uncomfortable it must be in those last weeks of pregnancy. I’m thinking of you & sending you best wishes. I hope you pamper yourself, and let that sweet husband of yours take care of you. What a doll he is! Hope y’all had a terrific Easter!

You are so cute pregnant and I love the nursing tank! Not that I need one…those days are over for me…but I love to hear that maternity wear has advanced. And yes, the Sugar lip balm is so good. I just got some for my “birthday” gift from Sephora. I put that in quotes because somehow they think my birthday is in April (it is not), but who am I to correct them?
