Hopefully those of you that are experiencing cold snaps won’t hate me too much, but it’s just beautiful here in Tampa! With temperatures in the low 80s and a delightful breeze softly blowing, yours truly is enjoying life in the sunshine state right now and I’m dressing accordingly.
Here I am rockin’ yet another maxi dress. What can I say? I’m slightly obsessed! Add in another one of my favorite “trends,” stripes, and I’m a happy camper! What I love about this particular dress (which is not a maternity piece btw) is that you can tie the straps in a bow and wear it strapless like I did or you can tie them around your neck for a slightly different look.
I paired my latest maxi acquistion with BaubleBar’s lovely snowflake pendant (you can see a detail shot of over at my BaubleBar feature), arm candy from local Tampa boutiques Keys Country and Zooey Bloom and the Boushie wedges that Nine West was kind enough to send me. And once again, I have our lovely beauty editor, Annelis Diaz, to thank for my makeup! I wish I could have her come over every day. Haha!

well considering that it snowed this morning, i have to admit that i’m just a tad jealous of your strapless-dress-wearing weather
though i am admittedly happy that this weather justifies wearing opaque, colored tights. i’m going to miss those come summer…

I am beyond jealous- of this gorgeous maxi dress-! You look amazing- and I love your accessories. I’m also jealous of your weather. It snowed again today here in the Pacific Northwest and I can’t seem to get warm today. I’ve got on knee socks, jeans, a wool sweater and the heat is cranked to 70 and I’m still cold. ARGH~!

We’ve been have some decent weather here in L.A. too. Just not consistent!
I also love that maxi dress. I lived in those when I was pregnant with my son. As soon as it’s consistently warm around here… the dresses are coming back out. They’re gorgeous and comfortable. Can’t beat that.

I would think it would be much easier to find looks to wear in the summer time when you can just throw on a flowy dress. You look great. The weather is definitely starting to look better. Even in Pittsburgh. It was up to 60 today!
