BonBon Deal of the Day: Lela Rose for Payless

Friday, February 17, 2012

We’re hangin’ on by a thread in the Top 25 Fashion & Beauty Moms contest! Your vote today would mean so much!

So, I’m officially ready for spring. We never really had winter here in Tampa and I’m letting go of the fact that I only got to wear some of the fabulous cold weather maternity pieces that I scored once…or not at all. It helps that I’m flying to Annapolis to see Meg in a couple hours, so I can at least wear some of my favorite scores one more time!

lela rose for payless t-strap wedge

Since I’ve embraced spring, I’m ready to start updating my spring wardrobe. Expect it to consist mainly of maxi dresses, sandals and wedges. These Lela Rose for Payless t-strap wedges would fit in perfectly with my warm weather maternity wardrobe plan! I just love the orange/coral hue and the sturdy wood-like sole is just what this off kilter mama to be needs.

My only hangup is the price. Would y’all pay $54.99 for Payless shoes? I have a few of their Christian Siriano for Payless shoes, but I bought them on sale. I have worn them several times, however, and they’ve held up, so I don’t think I would have been upset if I had paid full price for them.

What do you think lovelies? Yay or nay?

I love those wedges. For me the cost doesn’t matter so much as long as they are comfortable. There’s nothing worse then shoes that give you blisters!

From Brooklyn with love,

They are VERY cute! But you’re right – the price is a bit ridic for Payless. They are gettin out of control with all their ‘designer’ brands. When I go to Payless I want to plunk down a 20 and get some change.

These are seriously gorgeous! But I’m with you… I have a really hard time paying $55 for Payless shoes, knowing how bad the quality usually is! But I just love the color and the lucite section!

Super cute but over priced.

Those are from Payless? What? And yes I’d pay $55 for those gorgeous wedges, regardless of where I bought them. So pretty & perfect for Spring!

I think I associate Payless with having less expensive shoes. I’d definitely pay that price, but probably not there.

Those are fantastic! But 60$?! I would probably take that to ASOS or H&M instead:)
Happy weekend love!!

So funny. I was just there yesterday and today’s post on my blog is about my purchase (leopard wedges). I tried these ones on too, LOVED them, but way too high and not too comfortable for me. I guess now that I’m a mom, I have to be a little more practical with what footwear I tote around a carseat in. But super cute.

These are gorgeous, but I definitely can’t see myself paying $54.99 for them, especially since my last pair of Lela Rose for Payless are the most uncomfortable shoes I own.

Hey! First, I want to say congratulations! It’s so exciting that you’re having a baby. As for this pair of Lela Rose, I think they’re perfect for spring. :)

P.S. I definitely recommend ‘The Hunger Games’! It’s a good read.

Lots of love, B

Very cute but no way would I pay $55 for shoes from Payless! That just seems like a little much to me. Not to mention anytime I’ve ever bought cheap shoes at Payless, they’ve felt like cheap shoes from Payless! Not comfy at all.

These are so cute, but yeah they are a little $$$ for Payless.

I think the color is great, but I agree, that is way too much for payless.
did they forget what their name was?

Cute shoes, I might pay that if they were of decent quality which can be hit and miss at that store. I must say, that’s a bit on the pricey side for Payless shoes, however, they’ve stepped up their game in the past few years, so I guess the prices reflect that.

wow, i’m impressed! pretty spiffy heels for payless, but i agree — the price *is* a bit higher than what i would fork over for payless shoes.. but… then again, so cute? AND coral! oh the decisions..

I WOULD wear Payless shoes. I am not a shoe snob, but they HURT :( The heels hurt hurt hurt my toes and I’d rather not obehtr with heels, unless they’re super comfy, like from Nine West in Suede for $50 on sale.*still thinking about them*As for the Christian shoes, I’d buy a pair in a heartbeat if I could even pretend to walk in them.
