Happy new year! Are you as excited to have welcomed 2012 as me? I can’t wait to see what this year brings! And with the new year Tampa is seeing some lovely weather. It’s still fairly warm here during the day, but it’s cooler in the evenings, so I’ve finally been able to bring out my beloved boots!
On most nights you’ll see me wearing my moto or riding boots with skinnies, a tunic and a cardy. For all intents and purposes, it’s my winter uniform. Even if I’m rockin’ a fairly low key look, you KNOW I have to have some sort of sparkle! I’m kind of in love with this leather and metallic Topshop necklace. I just love a piece that adds just the right amount of edge!
So, what’s your winter uni lovelies? Do share and don’t forget to link up your fashion posts for Monday Mingle! We, along with Momtrends and Glamamom, are loving seeing your submissions each week! You can find the linky over at Glamamom.

Such a great uniform. Love the striped shirt!

I’m trying to shake up the uniform. Too many days spent in a cardi and skinnies. I know, I know it works, but I feel the need to mix it up in 2012. That being said for expecting mamas, why reinvent the wheel and spend too much chasing trends. Cardis + leggings are a mom to be’s best friend!

Love this! Probably because it’s an awful lot like my current uniform that I just blogged about this morning!
I’m definitely going to have to add a few more tunics to my rotation though!

Great uniform…my “uniform” also includes denim, black, and boots or flats…depending on the season!

The cardigan would be absolutely perfect for my winter uniform! I’m just starting to get into statement necklaces lately and the Topshop one is way cool.

I’m a little embarrassed to admit this but these days when I’m home I’m wearing my slippers that look like fake Uggs!! They’re sooo comfy & don’t look like slippers. When we go out I have been wearing my boots a lot & my little ankle boots.

I’m very excited for 2012! New year, new life, and I’ll be paying a visit to Tampa in mid-May to see my father remarry; I have family in the area, too.
My current uniform is a pair of jeans and one of my striped sweaters, over which I wear my blue plaid wool pea coat, blue F21 scarf (Xmas pressie), grey knit hat (Target purchase) and my first-ever pair of mittens (F21; Xmas pressie). I need more sweaters, though. More pants, too.
Oh, and my steel-toed boots I’ve had since 2008 or so; they’ve held up pretty well.
And there you go! Happy 2012 to you and Megan and your respective families! xoxoxoxoxo

My uniform has been the same: skinnies, boots, cardigan. Oh and a scarf.

Mine is definitely similar! A sweater, skinny jeans, and riding boots-perfection.

When I was still in grad school, that WAS my winter uni. LOL. Maybe I shook it up a bit with high-heeled boots instead of riding ones, but it was just easy peasy. Now that I’m a working gal/mom, I’m in slacks pretty much everyday. And I try to jazz that up with great accessories.

Very cute! I just bought bunches of cardigans to turn my summer maternity wardrobe into a winter one. Third pregnancy and my husband can’t figure out why I need more maternity clothes. Ahem, maybe because I’ve never been pregnant through winter before.

Great uniform outfit. I love your boots.

Boots and leggings with big comfy sweaters have been go-to weekend look lately. During the week, I have to make it a little more work appropriate, so I opt for tights and skirts or dresses, instead. I love that striped tunic!

Such a chic look!

I have a fairly similar winter uniform the only difference is my sweater is heavier and knee socks or leg warmers are a must!

I’m a huge fan of those wraps!
