Spooky Table Setting

Are you getting into the fun of Halloween?  This weekend my Mom and I decided to do a little tablescaping to get us in the spooky spirit.  I had most items on hand, which helped make this project very budget friendly.  The orange plastic chargers, tilting spider candles and plastic spiders were purchased at Michael’s, but the table cloth and dishes were all pre-owned.  I recently saw this idea for a “ghost pitcher” on a blog but can’t find it anywhere (if it’s you please let me know, I loved this project and will link up!).  All I did was cut out black circles and tape them to a white pitcher.  How easy it that?!  From here, we felt that the plates still needed a little splash of color so candy corn was the perfect final touch.  We filled these roly poly shot glasses I received ages ago as a gift  and I think they really gave the table that extra punch.

So, how did I do?  Have you done anything to get your home feeling spooktacular?

Oh, that is just adorable!! I love it! I’m totally pinning this. I don’t have any Halloween parties or anything scheduled, but it would be fun to decorate one night just for the kiddies. =)

So cute! I LOVE the simple idea of making a “ghost” out of a white pitcher. Perfect for halloween, yet not purchasing anything that you then have to just store the rest of the year! I’d love to eat at your spooktacular table :-)

Oh how I love a good table setting and this is so classy and seasonally appropriate. And hello, it’s candy corn season, does it get any better than that? I’ve resisted buying a bag so far but it’s time to give in…..
