Scarlet Fever

If you follow us on Twitter, you might have noticed me tweeting about going to my favorite vintage haunt Misred Outfitters today. I’m pleased to say that my visit was a major success! I was on the hunt for a special piece for a style challenge post that you’ll be seeing next week and I walked away with several other goodies, all of which were crazy good deals! One of my scores was a red corduroy blazer. It’s beyond fabulous!

I thought I would try to find y’all something similar. Now that I have one, I don’t know why a red blazer wasn’t a part of my wardrobe before! I think this BDG number is just adorable! How would you style it lovelies? I’m thinking about rockin’ mine with a winter white bow blouse and wide legs. Mine is a little shorter and more tailored than this one though. Thoughts?

Ordinarily I’m anti-shorts but I find myself captivated by the blazer paired with short denims and stockings/tights.
Love your idea to pair with white bow top and wide legs too.
    Rock it out girl.
Not quite a blazer but I picked up a very cool red jacket at a consignment shop recently for…wait for it…$7
This morning you have inspired me to put that thing on!

@Leslie Joy Ickowitz, I have a pair of tweed shorts I haven’t worn yet…I think they would be cute with that blazer too! $7??? Where is this shop? Can’t wait for Friday! xoxo

I’ve just been thinking about how I need a red blazer! I think it would look so classic with a gingham or plaid shirt and jeans. Congrats on that awesome find!
