Monday Mingle: Fashion Show Wear

Welcome to Monday Mingle with BonBon Rose Girls, Momtrends and Glamamom! This week I’ve decided to share some photos from the Tampa Bay Fashion Week Show that I attended on Friday. Our guest beauty editor, Annelis Diaz, and I got all dolled up for our fashion filled night on the town together. I used my HANA Flat Iron from  and was able to tame my curls with ease for the evening. Next time I think I’ll try adding some Moroccan Oil to my flat iron routine. I’ve heard rave reviews!

I had a completely different outfit planned, but the day turned out to be one of those days where a form fitting frock just wasn’t going anywhere near my bod, so I reached for my trusty and oh so forgiving LBD! Every girl needs one hanging in her closet. Just sayin’. My gorgeous BaubleBar bangles were hidden behind Annelis’ back, so I had to include another photo, so you could see them in all their sparkly glory!

We were joined by our lovely friends Dree Harper of Create That Style and Sara Stonecipher of Misred Outfitters. I couldn’t have asked for a more glamorous group to hang with!

I was especially excited about this show because it meant I would get to see my favorite local designer, Kimberly Hendrix, show again. The way she reworks vintage materials into glittering works of art never fails to inspire me!

Major props to the TBFW team, including my Blogger Brilliance partner in crime, Nancy Vaughn of White Book Agency. They put together a spectacular production! I can’t wait until next year!

    Dear Kristin,
There is nothing better than the trusted LBD. My trouble is that I have the little black coat, the little black jacket, the little black trouser, the little black skirt, the little black waistcoat etc etc ….I do sometimes add a white shirt or a grey camisole if I’m feeling very brave !!
The fashion show looked very good. XXXX

How fun! I’m gaga over all those vintage-reworked pieces and the sequins. Gonna have to check her out. And I love that you guys ended up accidentally matching! Very cool bangles- is that like a black dolphin with jewels?? lol I’m probably waay off!

    Did my link-up today :)
