Fall Must Have: The Heeled Loafer

Heeled loafers are a huge fashion trend for fall. Despite their popularity, I just wasn’t sure how I felt about them until I saw this Topshop pair. I can’t decide if I love the delicious wine hue or the luxe chain detail more! It looks like I’m jumpin’ on the loafer bandwagon…

    Well Kristin,
I have been shopping at Topshop since the 70′s. and it is such a brilliant shop. They have catwalk fashion at high street prices, which is what most of us want. I am loving the wine colour and these shoes would look so good with a pencil skirt…..something that I’m making room in my wardrobe for. XXXX

Flat loafers are some of my favourite shoes and at the moment I am not all that steady on heels, what with this baby bump unsettling my balance so I think this trend will have to pass me by this year. Although I do feel rather old as I remember a similar pair I had for school many moons ago!

    Hiya Kristen!!

How ‘juicy’ are these!! I am recently finding myself in lurveee with patent a bit too much and these fit the bill amazingly. Heels are a bit off limit given month 7 :) BUT just listed down some flat ones like this in my post yesterday on fall essentials at http://www.siddysays.com do check it out.

Heeled loafers are so classy looking, but I love the sloafer (slipper + loafer) look I’ve been seeing lately even more! If I were going to get heeled loafers I’d definitely go for that burgundy/wine color. So wonderful for fall.

Well, since I’ve had a pair of Bass Weejuns in my shoe rack since… maybe before you were born, I’m delighted by the trend. Alas though, my daily routine wants a pair with about half that heel height. Le sigh.
