To say I was elated with the turnout at the first Blogger Brilliance conference this past Saturday would be a gross understatement. A beyond marvelous group of bloggers signed up to experience our educational, yet fun filled day! We are so grateful to everyone who took time out of their weekends to spend it with us!
First up, was the panel portion of our conference at the International Academy of Design and Technology. Eight insanely sharp ladies made up our creative and business/technical panels. They were charming, engaging and chock full of valuable information. Basically, they were our panelist dream team!
I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Vahni Georgoulakos of Grit and Glamour, Kristina Medhus of Pretty Shiny Sparkly, Sasha Ezquerra of Everything Fabulous, Jodi Furman of Live FabuLESS, Dree Harper of Create that Style, Holly Hamann of BlogFrog, Carrie Wildes of Carrie Wildes Photography and Holly Sinn of Studio 10 and Hollisphere. I wholeheartedly recommend that you visit each and every one of them! I had the privilege of moderating these lovely ladies and they certainly made my job easy.
Next up on our agenda was the Tim Gunn fashion show at International Plaza, the blogger lounge at Neiman Marcus and the foodie experience at Pelagia Trattoria. I popped in at each event and they were all simply fabulous!
Bloggers doing what they do best…
We owe a huge thank you to all the amazing vendors that we worked with, including the ones I’ve already mentioned, as well as BaubleBar and Keratherapy who provided us with some incredible swag for our attendees! We also owe Seminole Hard Rock Hotel many thanks!
We ended the evening with a little wrap up mixer at Gabriella’s at the Renaissance Hotel. And guess who just so happened to be there also? Mr. Tim Gunn himself was in the house! Check out my post from Monday to see the group shot he so graciously posed for!
Me and Jennifer
Me and Kirstin…I have to give a shout out to my favorite vintage shop Misred Outfitters. I scored the statement necklace I’m rockin’ there!
I do believe this is just the beginning for Blogger Brilliance! I can’t wait to get started planning our next one. Before I go, I must send out a large and in charge thank you to my co-organizer Nancy Vaughn and her top notch team from White Book Agency! I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime!
Thank you to Kara form Sprinkles in Springs, Kirstin from Kirstin Marie, Jennie from Creative in My Mind, Natalia from Fashionably Late and Jennifer from Mangiamo for sending me photos from their Blogger Brilliance experiences!

looks so awesome! and it’s so true, bloggers always have their noses in their phones. not sure if that’s good or bad – but we ARE good at multi-tasking. this was proven so true at the last bloggers conf i was at – everyone was on twitter! haha – love it!

Cannot believe you get advice from Tim Gunn! Love him! This looks like an amazing event! Thanks for sharing the experience!
