Last week I had the opportunity to peruse the new arrivals at my local Neiman Marcus and put together a couple of summer to fall transitional looks. You all know how I feel about color blocking, so inspired by one of my favorite trends, I styled a casual and a dressy ensemble using a jewel tone color palette that would work now and take you right on into the fall season! Fun details like tassels and texture in the form of snakeskin made appearances as well!
My lovely partners in crime at Neiman Marcus added an oversized floral pendant and a bright yellow, scalloped tank to the casual outfit. I just love seeing different people’s takes on trends!
Dressy look: Emerald DVF Blouse {$245}, Alexander McQueen Scarf {$295}, Cobalt Alice+Olivia Wide Leg High Waisted Trousers{$198}, Lafayette Belt {$44}
Casual look: Yellow Eyelet Robbi & Nikki Scalloped Top {$155}, Purple DVF Top with Tassels {$245}, J Brand Green Skinny Jeans {$176}, Dina Mackney Statement Necklace, Snakeskin Jimmy Choo Bag {$2,350}
If you just have to have one or more of these beautiful pieces, head to Neiman Marcus STAT! If you happen to be in the Tampa Bay area, make sure you pop on over to the Neiman Marcus at International Plaza. You will be met with a top notch staff and a second to none selection of gorgeous goodies! I must send out a huge thank you to Kim and Jamie for giving me run of the store to make my color block dream looks a reality!
So, do you see yourselves rockin’ either of these outfits lovelies?

Well, I just wish that I was in the Tampa Bay area !!!!
You have done a great job with your colour-block styling. I think that it’s a wonderful trend, although probably not for me. I love my black, grey and sludgy colours !!!! Boring, I know.
