Today I’m collaborating with The Looks for Less on a Manicure Monday post! I’m currently rockin’ Chanel’s Black Pearl on my fingers and the lovely Jennifer found alternative polish to get the look for (you guessed it) less! I quite like the greenish/greyish hue and it’s a departure from the colors I typically go for. I was in the mood to switch things up. I think I have a raging case of spring fever!
Since I already had my camera out, I thought it would be a great time to mix in an outfit post. This particular outfit couldn’t be more timely, as it totally fits in with the budget friendly theme of the day.
The most expensive piece in my look is my turquoise link Devon Baer necklace. At around $45.00, it was a great deal, considering how many times I’ve worn it! My straw clutch and peep toe flats were scored on sale at Old Navy and Gap respectively. Both were less than $20.00! The tiered floral sundress that I sported at a recent dinner with the in laws can be found at Target for $17.99 right now. And last, but not least…My Forever 21 cocktail ring was under $5.00. So, I went for a high end mani and paired it with a budget friendly ensemble. That’s how I roll. High/low pairings are my favorite kind of looks! Who’s with me?

I always find that the cheaper nail polishes are in some way inferior to the better polishes by Chanel, MAC, OPI, etc. But great deals on Gap shoes & Target dresses are right up my alley!
