Champagne Saturday: One necklace, Two Girls

Saturday, April 16, 2011

Have you voted for us to be on the Top 25 Moms with Style List over at Circle of Moms today? We would big puffy heart you if you did, not that we don’t already love y’all!

Today’s Champagne Saturday is very special. Megan and I each were provided with a  necklace by Sandy, the owner of a company with an incredible mission called Jewels for Hope. Jewels for Hope was founded when Sandy’s mother was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. As she was helping care for her, Sandy was inside much of her day, so she decided to take up jewelry making. That hobby soon become a thriving business, wherein portions of the proceeds of the sales from her beautiful jewelry now go to Hospice.

Having had firsthand experience with the wonderful folks at Hospice myself, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce Jewels for Hope to you lovely readers! I urge you to go check out Sandy’s wares for yourselves. My necklace is of excellent quality. I can so see myself wearing it with countless ensembles this season. It’s such a perfect piece for spring and summer don’t you think?

Disclosure: We each were provided a necklace for purposes of this review. No monetary compensation exchanged hands.

Okay, voted again! Gorgeous pictures of both of you in your necklaces. It’s wonderful that Jewels for Hope helps support Hospice. My father was under hospice care when he died last December and they’re still involved with the family, sending us newsletters about living with loss and information about grief support groups. A very worthwhile program.
