tory burch fall 2011

Tory Burch has quickly become one of my favorite designers. Her clothes are ridiculously wearable and were I in the position to, I do believe I could buy out her entire fall 2011 collection…I love it THAT much! We were lucky enough to be invited to her presentation at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and were, by no means, disappointed with our Tory Burch experience.

If I wasn’t already in love with wide leg pants, I would be now! Gorgeous model after gorgeous model sashayed down the runway in flowy palazzo pants. It is now my mission to score a pair! Also a favorite of mine were the beautiful bow blouses which are sure to delight you girly girls! The fall infused color palette almost made me want to skip spring…almost.

And in addition to the fabulous duds, was an exciting celeb sighting. Kanye West walked past us, entourage free, as we were walking in and he proceeded to just quietly watch the show, occasionally chattin’ up Tory. Looks like his stage hijacking days are over. HAHA. Kelly Rutherford was also there looking pretty with a capital P! I’m already looking forward to seeing what she throws at us in September!

Oooh there’s some so GLAM and yet comfy as Hell about Palazzo pants. Flattering on everyone (even shorties)….for some reason this makes me excited for Spring/Summer – perfect warm weather pants (too wet here in the PacNW to wear those pants in Fall – I’ll just get a head start!)

Really? You would buy the sheer/lace jumpsuit with the midsection ruching? Really?

haha. jk, actually it’s kind of fantastic, just the opposite of wearable for every day. That said, I totally get what you mean about her clothes really being wearable- for the most part, it seems like those models could step off the runway onto the street and no one would ask any questions!

And you’re right, drapey wideleg pants are the best. I love the slouchy sort of these pants, rather than the stiffer, jean like material. Tory Burch does it right!

Snarkiness aside, that lace jumpsuit is kind of hot! Thanks for sharing!

It always makes me laugh to notice how many “RTW” collections are nowhere near ready to wear anywhere in the real world. You’re so right about Tory Burch. She’s one of the few who knows how to combine wearability and trendiness.

How cool that you got to go! I adore Tory Burch because her clothes are stylish but ultimately wearable. Perfect. And her Revas are one of my favourite inventions ever. So comfortable!
