I have never been more thankful for a Friday in my life. The hubs comes home today after being away at business school for over a week and boy am I READY to see him! Having been raised by a single mama, I’ve always had great respect for them…but that respect has grown ten fold after what I’ve experienced this past week. Taking care of a two year old 24/7 all alone is no joke! Hopefully now that Daddy will be back in the house, the dude will take pity on me and start sleeping through the night again. I love snuggling with my baby boy and all, but I would rather do it at 8:00 pm than 3:00 am. Dancing for an hour straight at The Wiggles concert didn’t even tire him out. Geesh.
Ok, I’m done whining for today…until the hubs gets home that is. HA! On to this week’s Freshly Picked Rosebud…Our featured blog today is a newish find for me and it’s now one of my favorites! The lovely lady behind grit and glamour has a style all her own and it’s one that I am supremely jealous of! Not only is she fabulously stylish, but she’s amazingly knowledgeable too. Couple her professional writing and web content experience with her divine fashion sense and you’ve got one killer combo! Her VLOGS are crazy informative and I highly suggest that you carve out a few moments in your day to watch them. The “Build a Better Blog” Vlog is more than worth your time! I think I might have scared her a couple weeks ago when I killed like an hour watching them. Stalker alert! I’m sure your interest has now been sufficiently piqued, so I will stop prattling on so you can go check out grit and glamour for yourself!

Henry is just starting to watch the Wiggles…Don’t know if he is staring because he loves them or thinks they are weird! Then he looks at me…because I’m singing. Yep, I know all of their songs! Sad, isn’t it?
