Notes about my VLOG: Apparently I invert the word “for” for the word “about” a LOT. Apparently I use the phrase “you guys” a LOT. Apparently I use the word “ya’ll” a LOT. Apparently I look like I roll my eyes a LOT. Oh and holy crap I need to slap on some self tanner and amp up the workouts. I hope that wasn’t too painful for YA’LL to watch. HA!
So, as I mentioned in my VLOG, I’m starting to pine for Fall…Fall fashion that is. I’m still enjoying all the fun that Summer has to offer and I’m looking forward to many more family fun days at the beach, but a piece of me wishes that we could just fast forward a few months, so I could bust out the fabulosity that is Fall fashion…but alas, I live in Florida and I have a whole lotta warm weather ahead of me, so here are some ways we can all incorporate the beautiful Fall trends into looks that we can wear when it’s still sweltering out!
Camel has been HUGE on the runways and although I’d love to be sportin’ it in the form of a gorgeous coat…I’ll settle for this adorable skirt from Topshop. I’d love to wear it with a striped top like this Ruche pretty. I think camel and red is such a gorg color combo! If I’m not in my flops during the day I’m in flat sandals like this Forever 21 pair, which is a total STEAL at $10.80! So very BonBon Deal of the Day worthy!
I’ve always loved the color grey. So, I was super psyched to see that it was a primary color for the Fall season. This look incorporates grey and another big Fall trend…bright accompaniments! I’m dying over this Anthropologie dress and I HAD to pair it with yellow. If I could have a wedding do over I would SO use grey and yellow as my colors! On a side note…I have these Steve Madden pumps in blue and they are sooooooo delish!
I’m up for just about anything when it comes to animal prints…but I know it’s a bit too much for some people. An easy way to rock an animal print without feeling like it’s overpowering is in handbag form. How cute is this Marc by Marc Jacobs cross body bag that I found at shopbop.com?? SO cute right?? Worn with a tomato hued frock like this one from Fred Flare and it would be one smashing look IMO! Doesn’t the dress look like it came straight off the Mad Men set? And that brings up yet another Fall trend…ladylike wear!
Well, there you have it folks. That’s a small peek into how I’m going to make it until I can bust out the REAL Fall fashion! I’m also lovin’ Rosebud Network Member’s Spry on the Wall’s take on my beloved SJP! Check out how she took a look of Sarah Jessica Parker’s and interpreted it for herself!

I’m so ready to pull out the fall stuff too! In fact the 2nd week in August, my family is doing a stay-cation and the 1st day, the girls and I will pull out ALL their clothes and see what we need for fall and what we need to get rid of. Always a fun time trying things on and getting the closets cleaned out.
Good job on the Locks of Love! Your hair looks great. My daughters have both done that. My son has alopecia areata so we knew he’d never wear a wig, but can see how traumatic conditions like this can affect other kids.
