Hello lovelies, I’ve got a jam packed weekend ahead of me, so I have a teeny tiny post for you today. After reading my bloggy bud Trish’s post on spiked watermelon popsicles, I had a hankerin’ for a watermelon cocktail…So I went on a hunt for a recipe out in the old blogosphere. Happily, I came across a fabulous new blog AND a delicious sounding beverage. Swigs and Grinds posted this Watermelon Cocktail and I, for one, can’t wait to try it out!
Since I’m watermelon inspired, I just had to come up with a pink and green ensemble for my outfit of the day…I love how these earrings, from Etsy shop Redondo, would be equally at home on Christmas Eve or a summer day!
This bustier inspired dress from Modcloth immediately caught my eye. Now that’s what I call pretty in pink!
And how about these MICHAEL Michael Kors espadrilles from Zappos to finish off the look?

my husband and I will be celebrating today’s Champagne Saturday at one of our most popular local vineyards ~ Arrington!! Free wine tasting and 75 acres of beatiful landscaping. We’re planning on bringing a picnic dinner and blanket and enjoying the free live music they provide in the summer time. Date night here we come!

Ahhh, watermelon is SO refreshing on hot summer days, plus green and pink is an amazing colour combination so it’s a fashionable fruit
